Job Summary/Basic Function:
Responsible for monitoring project plans, schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures, organizing and participating in stakeholder meetings, and ensuring that project deadlines are met in a timely manner.

This position is a Full-Time Temporary Benefit Eligible position.
Level Scope:
Entry-level professional with limited or no prior experience to contribute on a project or work team. Incumbent learns to use professional concepts to resolve problems of limited scope and complexity under close supervision while achieving day-to-day objectives. Works on developmental assignments that are initially routine in nature, requiring limited judgment and decision making. This level is typically focused on self-development. Requires theoretical knowledge through specific education and training.
Essential Functions:
• Maintain and monitor project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.
• Organize, attend, and participate in stakeholder meetings.
• Document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
• Prepare necessary presentation materials for meetings.
• Ensure project deadlines are met.
• Determine project changes.
• Provide administrative support as needed.
• Undertake project tasks as required.
• Develop project strategies.
• Ensure projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
• Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
• Ensure stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution.
• Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members.
• Create a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective.

Provide logistical and clerical support for training events:
• Arrange training locations, generate contracts, and communicate with venues.
• Make travel arrangements following University travel guidelines and processes; complete expense reports for staff review and approval.
• Prepare training materials for presenters and participants.

Complete office administration tasks:
• Order, receive, and organize office and training supplies for onsite and remote staff.
• Generate service provider contracts for review and approval.
• Input and coordinate University service requests related to maintenance, technology, system access, and other needs as required.

Prepare and maintain project documentation:
• Keep detailed records of contracts, purchase orders, expense reports, and budget expenditures.
• Prepare written reports and review with appropriate supervisory staff.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation of current processes.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
• Ability to work on tight deadlines
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel
• Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Knowledge of file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with event planning, office administration, and/or project management. Salary and Benefits:
Salary of $46,051.20/yr, commensurate with experience.
