Schedule: This position is a hybrid work schedule, requiring the representative to work onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with flexibility to work at home on Mondays and Fridays. The work schedule will be from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST.

The Representative is responsible for client service and administration of group annuity contracts that fund pension plan obligations from our pension risk transfer business.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Review and interpret contract language relative to calculating and processing retirement benefits
- Process benefit payments to retirees in our annuity payment systems
- Review and interpret contract language and retirement certificates relative to death benefits payable as a result of an annuitant’s death
- Review retiree’s forms and other supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy
- Locate participants that may have due and unpaid benefits
- Handle inbound phone inquiries from retirees and/or their family member(s), financial institutions, and contract holders.
- Process routine financial and non-financial activity on client accounts with both expediency and accuracy
- Assist with projects as needed
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or associates degree preferred; High School Diploma or GED required
- Client support experience, specifically within the Financial Services, Banking, or Insurance industry preferred
- Knowledge or experience with Life Insurance or Annuity products a plus!
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Technical aptitude, including Word and Excel experience and the ability to navigate multiple applications
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently while remaining flexible to meet team goals
- Ability to follow established procedures and stay current with internal control procedures

Salary range: $40,000 – $48,000
