    Primary Responsibilities

    Responsible for the day-to-day administration, managerial oversight, and execution of Kehe Distributors sales strategy in a designated market area.

    Essential Functions

    • Provide necessary supervision, professional development, and internal support for assigned team of Territory Managers.
    • Provide input into the creation of an annual business plan that identifies the company’s strategic initiatives for natural food stores in future fiscal years.
    • Create an annual “territory-up” sales volume and sales expense budget, based on a business plan designed to meet the company’s strategic initiatives in the natural food store market.
    • Responsibility for some financial metrics oversight,
    • Produce a tactical sales operating plan to achieve budgeted targets.
    • Collaborate with senior sales management to produce specific sales objectives to assist in meeting the company’s targeted sales growth.
    • Ensure successful execution against specific sales objectives by assigned Territory Management team.
    • Develop customer relationships by calling on key accounts in each Territory Manager’s area of responsibility.
    • Maintain direct responsibility for territory management functions for assigned key accounts.
    • Collaborate with Retail Services management to ensure the Territory Managers are continually engaging the merchandising team in profitable reset activity.
    • Train and ensure ongoing execution of company’s HISC (High Impact Sales Call) tactical approach by all territory sales managers assigned.
    • Ensure business reviews focused on developing the accounts’ business by identifying opportunities in assortment, merchandising, and market strategy are completed regularly with top accounts in each territory.
    • Ensure maximum points of distribution are achieved on appropriate company-owned brands and brand alliances.
    • Develop territory management team through active coaching and training.
    • Other duties and special projects as requested
    • Must maintain good attendance.

Ability to establish credibility and be decisive but be able to recognize and support the organization’s preferences and priorities. Service oriented, but assertive/persuasive.

The associate is frequently required to sit. Must be able to travel frequently. While performing the duties of this position, the employee may be subject to a typical office environment, warehouse environment or store environment, may be exposed to outside weather conditions and/or warehouse conditions, where temperatures can vary from very cool to very warm. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
