As a Senior Technical Strategist in the US Treasury markets, you will play a crucial role in providing technical expertise and strategic insights to institutional clients. You will be responsible for analyzing market trends, developing trading strategies, and delivering actionable recommendations to clients. Your expertise and guidance will contribute to the firm’s success in serving its clients and navigating the complexities of the US Treasury markets.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of the US Treasury markets, focusing on interest rate movements, yield curve dynamics, and market liquidity, to identify trading opportunities and risks.
- Utilize technical analysis tools and methodologies to interpret market data, including chart patterns, indicators, and statistical models, to generate insights and trading signals.
- Develop and communicate trading strategies based on your analysis and market expertise, considering factors such as client objectives, risk appetite, and market conditions.
- Collaborate with traders, sales team, and other stakeholders to execute trading strategies, ensuring optimal trade execution and risk management.
- Stay updated on market developments, regulatory changes, and industry trends that may impact the US Treasury markets, and provide timely analysis and recommendations to clients and internal teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients, serving as a trusted advisor and providing ongoing support, and market insights.
- Keep up-to-date with regulatory and compliance requirements and ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Relevant industry certifications, such as CMT (Chartered Market Technician).
- Experience working with institutional clients, including asset managers, hedge funds, and pension funds.
- Deep understanding of the US Treasury market structure, including knowledge of different Treasury securities, auctions, and market participants.
- Proficiency in technical analysis tools and methodologies, such as charting software, statistical models, and market indicators.
- Proven track record of delivering successful trading strategies and generating profitable trading ideas.
- Proven ability to analyze market trends, develop investment strategies, and communicate complex ideas to clients and colleagues.

Odeon Capital Group provides a total compensation package which may include a base salary, commissions, discretionary performance bonus, and/or a comprehensive benefits package. The estimated base salary range for this position, at the time of posting, is $125,000 to $200,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future. When finalizing an offer, we take into consideration an individual’s experience level and the qualifications they bring to the role to formulate a competitive total compensation package. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location. The final base salary amount that is offered to any candidate, in any location, will be determined on several factors, which may include but are not limited to location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education, and/or regulatory licenses.
