We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Technical Marketing Manager to be a part of the development and execution of technical marketing strategies for our Carbon Black products. As the Senior Technical Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for driving the technical messaging and positioning of our products, creating compelling content, developing technical training programs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive product adoption and customer engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Develop technical messaging and positioning for Carbon Black products
- Create compelling technical content such as whitepapers, case studies, and blog posts to support marketing and sales initiatives
- Develop and execute technical training programs for internal and external audiences
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as product management, sales, and engineering to develop and execute go-to-market strategies
- Drive product adoption and customer engagement by developing technical marketing programs and initiatives
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends and customer needs
- Attend industry events and speak at technical conferences to promote Carbon Black products and establish thought leadership
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, marketing, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in technical marketing or product marketing for enterprise software or security products
- Strong technical background with the ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience developing technical content such as whitepapers, case studies, and blog posts
- Experience developing and delivering technical training programs for internal and external audiences
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive results
- Passion for technology and cybersecurity
For US based candidates, the annual pay range (OTE for commissioned roles; Salary for other roles) for this position is: $112,000 – $268,000. The actual offer will be based on the role, location, and individual candidate experience. Bonus, commission, and/or equity may be eligible for this position.
