We are currently working in the office 2-3x a week in a hybrid work model.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain, operate, and monitor Nexon America’s backend enterprise architecture.
- Deliver essential business service systems, devices, and infrastructure for all production, and test online gaming service delivery and business systems.
- Perform necessary updates and improvements, and execute daily operations and other Nexon America business growth information technology (IT) projects.
- Build and troubleshoot enterprise-wide scalable operations on Cloud Platforms using DevOps methodologies.
- Build and troubleshoot systems environments using Container and serverless technologies. Develop optimized deployment scripts and methods.
- Document and update IT Enterprise System processes and procedures.
- Participate in business growth, stability, and improvement projects.
- Identify training and process improvements and vendor support issues.
- Mentor Junior Cloud Engineers.
Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related Engineering field, plus six (6) years of experience as a Systems Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or related occupation.
Knowledge/Skills
- Free to play (FP)mobile gaming platform experience;
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools: Terraform and Ansible;
- Containerization technologies (Dockers and Kubernetes);
- Architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise IT Cloud services;
- Cloud computing in publicprivate hybrid cloud models (AWS, GCP, and Azure);
- Log analysis systems (ELK and OpenSearch);
- Setup monitoring systems (CloudWatch or Grafana);
- VMware vSphere and vCenter;
- Microsoft Windows 2012/2019 Server;
- Active Directory;
- Root cause analysis, investigation, diagnosis, and reporting;
- Puppet and Chef scripting for automation and orchestration;
- Administering Linux distributions;
- DNS and load balancing (AWS elastic load balancing).

Compensation Description for Pay Transparency (annually)
The base salary range for this position in El Segundo, CA is $138,195 – $178,201 annually.
Our salary ranges are determined by market data based on position and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum salaries for that position. An individual’s pay is determined by factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experiences, relevant education or training, and location.
Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work. This role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, however the salary range listed in this job posting reflects the base salary only.
