The Senior Strategic Planning Specialist owns the development and execution of the proposal and business review strategy for our national and regional sales teams. With a deep knowledge of our brands and selling model, the individual leader will create high-profile sales and other internal presentations. The Senior Specialist possesses a strong understanding of our brands, business, and sales approach to create strong stories that enable base business growth and new business acquisition.

- Participates in, and/or leads projects as needed.
Planning and Execution
- Develops and sustains powerful selling presentations that enable Sales effectiveness and efficiency.
- Develops and executes Sales proposal process, including RFP/RFI framework and pitch support.
- Successfully sources, completes, and submits prioritized RFPs/RFIs in line with business strategy.
- Creates high-profile presentations for internal and external audiences, including executives.
- Develops and sustains Customer Business Review process.
- Leverages customer, category, brand, channel/segment, and other insights to improve approach.
- Participates and/or leads other Strategic Planning projects, as needed.
- Gathers and incorporates Sales input and requirements to maximize program effectiveness.
- Represents Sales requirements to Marketing and Commercial Development team.
- Maintains the Sales enablement intranet site.
Experience:
- Experience executing brand, product, and/or sales strategies
- 3+ years’ experience in Sales, Category, Marketing and/or related function
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced PowerPoint skills – 2 years professional experience creating sophisticated PowerPoint presentations, including visualizing data in concise formats, photo editing, and creating templates
- Proficient Word, Excel and PowerBI Desktop skills
- Proficient SharePoint skills, preferred
- Experience working with SalesForce or similar CRM
- Experience working with consumer and customer insights
- Experience and understanding of the Foodservice and Office Coffee channels, preferred
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree, required
- Currently possess advanced PowerPoint and data visualization skills
- Possesses business and financial acumen
- Ability to travel up to 20%
The approximate pay range for this position is $100,000 to $125,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
