About The Role
The position of Senior Specialist, Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Operations will develop and support software applications and workflows that benefit the customer and field operations business units. This position will be responsible for the analysis of business processes to be automated via RPA solutions, developing the RPA workflow, testing/scheduling RPA workflows for production, and performing maintenance/support for workflows in production.
The position will assist with developing and executing the roadmap for RPA expansion within field and customer operations. This would include supporting citizen developers from the business community, managing a repository of community-developed automation, and helping train new RPA development resources from various lines of business.

- Manages and implements company policies and procedures; coaches others in adhering to the same standard

- Determines and anticipates what internal customers need and value in terms of reports and tools; prioritizes the delivery of initiatives to maximize impact on the customer experience
- Performs root cause analysis and develops innovative, timely solutions to complex customer and business problems
- Implements and supports process automation that stimulates creative thinking and alternative approaches; promotes the open exchange of ideas; listens to and respects the opinion of others
- Ensures established quality standards are adhered to; ensures report accuracy before distribution
- Promotes and supports continuous improvements to processes and systems by seeking out and implementing best internal/external practices
- Proactively solicits business owners for feedback on what processes and tools they are needing to improve their lines of business
- Practices open communication and ensure that appropriate and timely information sharing takes place, seven times, seven different ways across the organization; ensures everyone understands what projects are being worked on and the statuses of each
- Exercises good judgment, sensitivity, and poise when communicating in a variety of communication settings and styles
- Demonstrates a collaborative approach to influencing key decision-makers and stakeholders; solicits and incorporates input to obtain support for ideas; is persuasive in negotiating consensus to achieve desired outcomes
- Drives performance excellence; is energetic and action-oriented; conveys a sense of urgency around goals
- Applies project management skills; develops/manages project plans and executes operational work plans aligned with overall organizational strategies
- Uses good judgment; makes the right tradeoffs in balancing competing demands
- Demonstrates general knowledge of overall financial concepts and Frontier’s financial targets and processes. Drives growth, productivity improvements, and cost reductions to achieve Frontier’s financial objectives
- Ensures project scopes are within the time constraints and feasibility and work with key stakeholders and IT teams to ensure no duplication of efforts
Required Qualifications
- Minimum BA/BS degree in a technical area or 2-3 years of related work experience with RPA tools and automation development
- Must possess the ability to work on issues and projects of diverse scopes where analytical and troubleshooting skills are required
- Logical, organized thinker capable of multitasking and addressing various requests
- Team player with the ability to communicate across functional organizations and provide accurate and concise updates to executives
- Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Must be able to participate as an individual contributor, project leader, and as part of a project team
- Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal direction in some cases
Desired Skill Sets
- Previous experience with UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, Unattended and Attended Robots
- Comprehensive understanding of the business processes used within Frontier’s Customer Operations or Field Operations departments and ability to identify opportunities for process improvements
- Previous experience with Frontier applications such as DPI, VxField, Mobile Tech Portal, SIMPL, M6, Pega, Jira, AccelQ, etc.
- Experience with IT or RPA development processes and creating technical designs based on user-provided functional requirements
- Previously demonstrated ability to drive change and achieve results cross-functionally with internal groups
- Experience with Agile software development principles, methods, and systems
- Previous experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) such as creating test suites, creating detailed test scenarios, and executing test cases
