The Automotive Brand Innovation Lab is Amazon’s custom prototyping and development team for auto brands and their advertising agencies. We focus on the conception and execution of branded custom experiences across Amazon properties. The Senior Solutions Manager will partner with the Creative Director to lead key accounts, and scope, pitch and execute one-of-a-kind campaigns for some of the automotive world’s most valuable brands. The Senior Solutions Manager helps the team navigate never-been-done-before situations and build lasting relationships with Advertising clients by partnering to address business and marketing challenges. The Senior Solutions Manager will also work closely with creative and technical peers within the Brand Innovation Lab and other partner teams (e.g., Alexa, IMDb, Fire TV, Prime Video, Twitch). The Senior Solutions Manager will use custom tools like Asana, Salesforce, and other pre-sale scoping mechanisms to help the entire team “see around corners” to avoid pitfalls, delays, and mistakes while realizing the full creative potential of the Amazon canvas. We are looking for an entrepreneurial, agile leader with experience partnering with Creative, Technical and Sales teams to deliver bar-raising results for advertisers.
Key job responsibilities
Build relationships with Advertising clients as a partner in addressing their business and marketing challenges, helping them navigate the Amazon ecosystem and unlock customer centric innovation.
Work with Sales Leads and Directors to help them understand where their business can benefit from Brand Innovation Lab, while identifying opportunities for BIL to innovate to help drive incremental revenue.
Contribute to the strategic vision of the automotive pod, ensuring alignment on shared goals and delivery of business results.
Learn about new opportunities within and outside Amazon to inspire and push the Creative team to take full advantage of Amazon channels and products.
Provide mentorship and training to the SM team, empowering flawless execution.
Play a frontline role in leading the development of pitches and proposals to Advertising clients.
Manage the intake vs. available resourcing process, striking the balance of saying “yes” to finding alternative solutions.
Utilize the team’s Salesforce and Asana systems ensuring data quality and output.
Foster internal relationships both on an individual level and on behalf of the Automotive Brand Innovation Lab.
Partner with the Business Intelligence team to utilize data and tracking mechanisms that inform resource decisions that ensure the team is appropriately utilized.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 6+ years of digital advertising and client facing roles with a focus on data analysis experience
- Experience with annual brand and media planning
- Experience in digital advertising and client facing roles with a focus on data analysis
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience hiring and developing sales management teams

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $98,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $182,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
