Senior Software / Systems Engineer

Sonalysts, Inc is seeking an experienced engineer with critical thinking and effective communication skills to perform system and software engineering functions for defense system development projects.

  • Work on interesting and challenging software project such as:
    • modeling and simulation of advance payload behaviors
    • development and improvement of signal processing algorithms
  • Using analytical and problem-solving skills to solve problems and build prototypes

  • Salary ranges between $120,000-$180,000, dependent on experience, qualifications and other relevant business criteria.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen, eligible for a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance*
  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or science field with 10 years experience OR

Master’s degree in an engineering or science field with 5 years experience

  • Experience with signal processing or experience with controlling unmanned systems/vehicles or experience in modeling and simulation of the undersea environment

Strongly Desired Experience/Qualifications:

  • Possess an active Department of Defense SECRET security clearance*
  • Experience with MATLAB

*Obtaining a U.S. Government security clearance involves a comprehensive background check.
