IT Integration Technician

As an IT Integration Technician, you will represent Nomad through your craftsmanship, leadership, and efficiency. It is important that you are good at multitasking, enjoy being a team player, are safety-conscious and can thrive in a fast-paced work environment. All our IT Technicians are critical to Nomad’s success in providing quality products to our customers in a timely fashion.

- A gizmo geek – you have broad knowledge of computers and electronics like circuit boards, processors, chips, computer hardware and software-maybe you’ve even dabbled in programming!
What you will do:
- Learn how to read Nomad Cable Runs spreadsheet and IT Integration Process Flow to complete necessary installations and projects
- Follow and install antennas, equipment, racks, and other items using layout spreadsheets
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot cabling, antennas, electronics, and accessories
- Edit/update all documentation as jobs are completed to keep IT team updated on project progress
- Use your high attentiveness to detail to work independently, inspect your work and ensure it meets Nomad quality standards
You should have:
- A High School diploma or GED received
- 2-5+ years of experience of IT experience preferred
- Highly prefer skills already acquired in audio/video, radio, Wi-Fi and cellular, VSAT, CCTV, security, data and networking, voice, etc.
- An understanding of Nomad Core values and willingness to apply them to your day-to-day work
- A flexible mindset that prioritizes project deadlines and safety
- Ability to walk, crouch, and perform various physical tasks alongside your team
