SUMMARY:
We seek a Senior Design Engineer responsible for developing innovative, leading-edge products for emerging mobile 5G NR / Wi-Fi applications. This will involve designing and developing an RF front-end module using advanced Silicon technologies. You will be a key member of the Mobile Advanced Development team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and development of Silicon RFIC circuits, including but not limited to PA, LNA, switch, coupler, and detector for the mobile communications market, especially RF front-end modules for 5G NR and Wi-Fi applications
- Support Silicon RFIC circuits integration into a multi-chip module (MCM)
- Use of RF measurement equipment with the ability to troubleshoot measurement issues
- Documentation and presentation of results to internal and external customers
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of MSEE; Ph.D. degree preferred
- Extensive design experience with HFSS, Cadence, and ADS
- Experience in RFIC design using various silicon technologies, including SOI, SiGe, and bulk CMOS technologies, is plus
- Detailed transistor-level knowledge; Capable of design-supporting analog circuitry such as current references, bandgaps, charge pumps, LDOs, DACs, and level shifter
- Capable of refining the simulation results to achieve excellent predictability for the first-pass success
- Strong background in RF measurements and characterization
- Be able to work independently within a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and presentation skills
Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $102,000-$132,700, relevant for the California Bay Area (subject to change depending on the physical location)
