A Release Train Engineer leading the Agile Release Train (ART) who possesses a strong understanding of Agile, and can execute Agile processes and manage them. You will work closely with QA, Product, GXD, Cyber, DevOps, Architecture, and SW development to deliver value and meet PI goals. You will be the master organizer of the Agile Teams’ workload for each Program Increment (PI) and will define the agenda for and orchestrate the activities during and post each PI planning session. You will drive continuous development, manage risks and escalate impediments while also acting as a full-time chief scrum of scrums master interacting with other scrum masters.

JOB DUTIES:
- Facilitates the Agile Release train (ART) events and processes and assists the team in delivering value
- RTEs communicate with stakeholders, escalate impediments, help manage risk, and drive relentless improvement
- Facilitates PI planning and responsible for carrying out pre and post-PI planning events
- Point person on the status of the deliverables of the train
- Conduct the Health check of the train
- SoS (Scrum of Scrums) with all the agile team representatives
- Plans and ends the sprints across the agile teams at the same time.
- Coordinates estimation with the agile teams before and during sprint planning.
- Interlocks with partners and cross-functional leads
- Facilitates demo calls working with the POs/PMs/Engineering Leads end of every sprint for the train.
- Responsible for the integration checkpoints across agile teams within the train along with the Engineering leads.
- Ensures the POs/Product manager of the train are continually grooming the backlog at least 2-3 sprints ahead and maintain a healthy executable backlog
Status and Metrics from the software perspective
YOU MUST HAVE:
- BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or comparable discipline
- On-job experience in running PI planning along with a SAFe RTE certification
- At least 5 years of software project/program management experience
- At least overall 10 years of industry experience
- Working knowledge of JIRA, confluence
WE VALUE:

- Technical certifications around IoT stack
- Knowledge of CI/CD and GitHub
- Well-versed with IOT technical stack such as Mobile applications, Cloud

- In compliance with applicable law, Resideo provides a reasonable compensation range for roles that may be performed in New York state. Actual compensation is influenced by various factors, including, but not limited to, skills, experience, and the specific office location. The expected base salary range for this role in New York state is $ 148,410 Min to $ 160,000 Max.
- This role is eligible to participate in the Resideo Bonus Plan (RBP) subject to the terms and conditions of the Plan. You can earn an annual bonus of 10% of your annual salary. This percentage will be prorated based on your hire date. Business performance against pre-established financial goals for the fiscal year will determine 100% of the bonus payment amount. If your first day of eligibility under the Plan is after November 1st, you are not eligible for an RBP payout in March of the following year.
