Senior Manager, Product Reporting

Job Description

This role sits within the Global Product Reporting team which is responsible for delivery reporting on CTI and Columbia pooled and mutual fund ranges in North America, EMEA and APAC covering retail, wholesale, and institutional clients. The purpose of this role is to manage reporting production process, maintain and provide accurate and timely client reporting in form of Factsheets and other investment data reporting formats.

New York Residents Only: The estimated base salary for this role is $84,800 – $146,300 / year. Base salaries are determined in part based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role. Responsibilities

  • Management and co-ordination of report production of portfolio and share class investment data and information in the form of multi-lingual, jurisdiction specific Factsheets on a monthly, quarterly and annual cycle.
  • Reviewing and signing off North American factsheets as Registered Principal (RP) and other marketing collateral in accordance with FINRA RP 7&24 requirements
  • Management of information workflow to ensure reporting is delivered in accordance with agreed deadlines.
  • Manage change to Factsheets by attending Product/Compliance meetings, gathering change requirements and plan implementation of change.
  • Establish data quality assurance and effective control processes to ensure data and documents are reflected accurately.
  • Develop automated data feeds through interfaces, data lakes, static data masters and reporting marts.
  • Maintain and manage global relationships with internal departments such as Product Development/Management, Legal, Compliance, Oversight teams, Marketing and North America, EMEA and APAC Client Management/Enablement teams and Sales Support.
  • Responsible for proactive identify issues and develop well thought out and viable solutions taking risk and controls into consideration.
  • Provide timely and effective communication and MI metrics to management and stakeholders.
  • Contribution towards the improvement, centralisation, standardisation and alignment of global pooled and mutual Product reporting processes and documentation.
  • Identification of BAU work for transition to Production Support team in India and smooth management and co-ordination of transition

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in the financial services industry, preferably in asset management and/or wealth management
  • Required: Registered Principal (RP) qualification (FINRA RP 7 & 24 registered principal requirements)
  • Proven leadership skills with experience leading a team
  • Required: in-depth product knowledge on North American mutual fund products and EMEA pooled fund products especially OEICs and SICAVs
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret data, reach conclusions, solve and investigate issues and act within a dynamic and active environment with little advanced notice
  • Knowledge of investment operations and processes with ability to conduct process improvement efforts.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate with all levels and areas of the business
  • Strong organisational skill and priority setting

  • Ability to balance managing multiple priorities, tasks, projects and processes
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Understanding of regulatory jurisdiction specific requirements
