Senior Manager of Business Operations and Special Projects

Location: Remote with preference to candidates in Central/Eastern time, with ability to travel to Scratch’s HQ on a quarterly basis. Other minimal travel may arise throughout the year (< 4 unique trips, < 3 days each) Reports to: SVP of Business Operations Salary: $100-$120k, location and skill level dependent Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic Senior Manager of Business Operations and Special Projects to join our team. The role will require exceptional organizational skills, a strong ability to manage complex projects, and excellent communication skills. Primarily, the 3 main responsibility sets are as follows: People Leadership (25%)

You will be responsible for event planning, specifically our quarterly Board and Hub Day meetings. We are looking for a leader to help us leverage this unique time to bring our team together and form cross-collaborative bonds. Additionally, you will be managing our OKR program, facilitating monthly calls with our KR owners to review progress and ensure we are meeting our goals cohesively. Finally, you will serve as a culture builder by planning team building activities to create cohesiveness for our globally distributed workforce. There may be tasks not specified in this list that come up occasionally, which you will work with SVP of Business Operations and CEO to triage and complete as well.

Training Leadership (50%)

In this role, you will be responsible for creating core training assets for both large groups and new products. We need someone to lead our asset approach from a reactive to a proactive stance, partnering with the Account Management / Support team to draft copy and create assets. This may require quicker prototyping and working cross collaboratively with our Design team on asset creation, depending on size of the project. Additionally, we require leadership for our FAQ transition project, helping us decide which FAQs to transition first and working with the BizOps team on creation, while managing to a delivery timeline. You will also partner with our banking partner, WebBank, to approve creation and publication of assets in limited cases.

Special Projects (25%)

In this capacity, you will manage a variety of special projects, including providing Central Time Zone coverage for our key accounts, monitoring our high priority client communications queue, and helping with onboarding processes and procedures. Additionally, you will assist in managing a few large accounts, providing industry knowledge and experience to help transition from pilots to full rollouts

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field

5+ years of experience in business operations and project management

Excellent organizational and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Strong leadership skills
