As a Senior Program Manager, you’ll drive the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; provide resources; develop contingency plans; and demonstrate adaptability and support continuous learning.

Data Ventures exists to unlock the full value of Walmart’s data by developing and productizing B2B data initiatives that empower merchants and suppliers to make better, faster decisions for the business. As part of this transformation, we’re seeking entrepreneurial individuals to help drive data productization from concept to deployment.
You’ll sweep us off our feet if you have…
- Provide input into roadmaps and leads teams in development of project/program plans and timelines.
- Ensures all project teams within the business area understand the overall objectives, timeline and how the projects/programs impact overall business area results.
- Identifies budget and resource requirements for projects/programs.
- Defines project/program success criteria and develops project/program management best practices and tools
- Monitors execution progress and ensures deliverable quality (e.g., coordinating meetings, tracking budget, following up on action items) for projects/programs.
- Leads and organizes cross-functional and/or category team and stakeholder meetings and communicates with stakeholders as needed.
- Interprets and manages scope creep for projects/programs.
- Resolves conflicts and elevates more complex conflicts.
You’ll make an impact by:
- Ensuring project/program meets success criteria and identifies plans to address/mitigate potential barriers; elevates the highest concerns to Director.
- Ensuring project teams understand project risk and mitigation plans.
- Solving and adjusting for most risks/concerns and elevates outstanding issues to Director
- Implementing change approach, strategy and plan for projects/programs.
- Preparing and managing all aspects of impact of project change on each stakeholder group.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams across the organization (e.g., Merchandising, Product teams, Sales teams) to ensure successful implementation for projects.
Preferred qualifications:
- 3 years’ experience in merchandising, marketing, ecommerce, operations, logistics, supply chain, or related field.
- Project Management certification.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam’s Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $79,000.00-$169,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.
Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:
– Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)
– Stock equity incentives
Minimum Qualifications…

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and 3 years’ experience in project management, compliance, operations management, or related area OR 5 years’ experience in project management, compliance, operations management, or related area. 1 year’s experience leading cross-functional teams. 3 years’ experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office.
