Job Description:

Ensure timely delivery of data, analytics and strategic consulting to support the client’s database marketing initiatives; Provide direction and manage the work processes and output of a team of database marketing analysts; Participate in creating and articulating relevant solutions for clients by evaluating client needs for quantitative analysis and in developing methods or processes for implementation; Leverage knowledge of statistical modeling techniques to provide suggestions or guidance to teams; Provide direction on and optimize clients’ multi-channel campaigns; Manage project tasks, timelines and deliverables inclusive of campaign production activities; Develop analytical solutions to client business problems; may pitch in the analysis and pull data or implement analytical solutions; Act as SME in the following techniques: Predictive statistical models, Customer profiling, Segmentation Analysis, Campaign Analysis, Data Analysis and Mining, Presenting ideas and findings to clients, Demonstrating thought leadership; Work independently with minimum supervision, lead projects and provide guidance to junior team members; Collaborate with business partners, prepare documents and presentation materials; and Act as subject matter expert, provide innovative and new ideas to improve existing processes by identifying and evaluating new data elements, advanced analytics methodology, and new techniques/tools.

Qualifications:

Required Skills/Experience:

Must have experience with the following in order to complete the above-mentioned tasks:

  • Experience with SAS, SQL, R, Python, logistic regression, multiple regression, machine learning;
  • Experience using 3rd party data in combination with 1st party data for modeling;
  • Ability to explain/present complicated/advanced analytical methodology and results to non-technical audiences;
  • Ability to execute advanced analytic tasks (including but not limited to modeling, segmentation, DOE, forecasting, etc.) and create meaningful analytical outputs;
  • Ability to translate analysis insights into actionable recommendations and strategies for marketers; Experience with modeling and statistical concepts;
  • Experience with applying statistical techniques such as regression, ANOVA, cluster analysis, factor analysis, time series forecasting, experimental and design, etc. to solve business problems;
  • Possess core database marketing knowledge such as understanding of company and client data, relational database concepts, and direct marketing concepts;
  • Possess core analytical competencies such as ability to formulate an analytical problem, QC data and results, summarize key findings/insights, make actionable recommendations, and develop new and innovative analytical solutions to solve challenging business problems; and
  • Experience with campaign analytics.
  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Statistics, Math, Economics or related scientific/quantitative field and at least five (5) years of experience as a Data Analyst or related occupation.
  • Itinerant employment – employee may be required to work at various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.
  • Option to work from home.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $145,000.00-$225,000. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
