Senior Logistician
Purpose:
- Valkyrie Enterprises has an immediate need for a Senior Logistician in Port Hueneme, CA.
Job Description:
- Will integrate the spectrum of the logistics processes within the operational, acquisition and wholesale environments.
- Responsible for directing the integrated logistics process, developing support policies, procedures, and systems, and providing implementation guidance.
- Prepares and implements directives to ensure effective logistics support and establishes and enforces standards to ensure that the assigned work force is properly trained and equipped.
- Will develop, initiate, integrate, and manage all logistics actions associated with life cycle management of weapon systems, subsystems, and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Must have High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 15 years of professional in Integrated Logistics Support.
- Must be detailed-oriented and have good oral and written communication skills.
- Must be able to multiple-task simultaneously and assist in management activities.
- Must be able to create drawings for various S&TE and prepare TDPs and technical illustrations using AutoCAD, occasionally SolidWorks software for use in USN documentation.
Desired Qualifications:
- Prefer experience supporting NSWCD PHD programs and efforts in support of Weapon Systems Integration.
- Prefer experience with missile weapon/test systems as VLS Automatic Test Equipment (ATE), VLS canisters, Tomahawk AUR, VLA, STANDARD Missile, Harpoon, ESSM, Stinger, MK 26 Rail & MK 41 VLS Launchers
- Versed in TDP engineering change processes including ECPs to Ship Change Notices (SCNs) Waivers, Weapon Specifications and Notice of Revisions is highly preferred.
- Prefer experience in assisting in the development of training systems to include course and plan material.
Security Requirements:
- Must have an Active DoD Secret Security Clearance and the ability to maintain one.
Travel Requirements:
- Occasional travel; 10% or less.
- Position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID. Physical Requirements:
- Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.

Pay Range: $83,500 – $90,000 per year
