Boutique Recruiting has partnered with an industry leading engineering company that provides renewable energy solutions in Los Angeles, CA, in search of a Senior Level Utility Program Manager to support the organization in the implementation and efficiency of utility programs in the Southern California market area. This exciting position requires strong project management skills, technical expertise, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, evolving energy industry
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 8 years of experience as an Energy Efficiency Program Manager and experience working with California investor and publicly owned utilities. Pay Range: $125,000 – $200,000 DOE
Responsibilities:
- Refine program management processes and oversee day-to-day operations
- Provide critical administrative and workflow support to ensure program success
- Achieve operational objectives for seamless onboarding of new customers
- Coordinate project and workflow issues with program managers, field staff, and engineering team
- Define, launch, and drive mission-critical strategic and operational initiatives
- Define, acquire, and allocate budget, staff, and resources to accomplish program goals
- Exercise judgment and delegated authority in planning, directing, and executing projects/programs
- Lead the preparation of technical, business, and cost proposals for current programs and customers
- Lead and provide oversight of technical and business reviews with customers and management
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience as an Energy Efficiency Program Manager
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent – Master’s degree is preferred
- Strong analytical aptitude to interpret data and identify business trends and opportunities
- Deep familiarity and experience working with Los Angeles agencies and organizations
- Experience working with CA investor and publicly owned utilities
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks to deliver high-quality results on time
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with stakeholders and deliver excellent customer service
- Strategic thought partner with excellent listening, influencing, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial work environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and project management information systems
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
