Senior Leader, Web Merchandising

Job Description

RH at its core is about taste, and we believe the idea of scaling taste is large and far reaching.

The RH brand attracts the best designers, artisans, manufacturers and talent in our industry, scaling and rendering their work more valuable across our integrated platform, enabling us to curate the most compelling collection of luxury home furnishings in the world. We are moving the brand beyond curating and selling products to conceptualizing and selling spaces by building an ecosystem of products, places, services and spaces that elevates and establishes the RH brand as a global thought leader, taste and place maker.

At RH we believe deeply that the “right” people are our greatest asset. We value people with high energy, who possess the ability to energize others. People who are smart, creative and have a point of view. People who see the answer in every problem, versus those who see the problem in every answer. People who are driven, determined and won’t take “no” for an answer. We value team players, people who are more concerned with what’s right, rather than who’s right.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as a leader and project manager between creative, design, product management, photography, product development, copy, and merchants to execute site plans and changes for daily site maintenance and seasonal assortment launches under the direction of the Web Merchandising Director
  • Lead Web Merchandising Assistant/Associate(s) in their execution of daily site maintenance, including management of SKUs, database hierarchy, data relationships, internal record maintenance, QA of live site assets, and answering inquiries from internal partners as it relates to products live on the site
  • Analyze sales data and web analytics to provide insight and suggestions for the presentation of products, overall site functionality, and end-to-end product tools, including selling orders, site/page design, code enhancements, email marketing opportunities, seasonal reporting, year-over-year analysis, site navigation, cross-marketing opportunities, and process improvements
  • Track website photography from build through to completion
  • Focus on product and site optimization, pushing for a best-in-class eCommerce experience through a passion for retail, an appreciation of the evolving nature of digital, and a lens of luxury and customer service
  • Accountable for the accuracy of sellable inventory online. Includes partnering with Merchandising, Planning, and Merchandising Operation teams to ensure online availability of merchandise

OUR REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years of experience in eCommerce merchandising or digital marketing
  • Strong character and personality, ethics, and high standards of performance
  • Expects accountability to come with autonomy
  • Able to prioritize, multitask, and work efficiently

  • Committed to providing excellent customer service
  • Strong knowledge of computers, specifically Mac and Excel
  • Experience with web merchandising metrics and analytics is required
  • Understanding of project management tools and service software desired (JIRA, ServiceNow, Trello).
