Technology is constantly changing and our adversaries are digitally exceeding law enforcement’s ability to keep pace. Those charged with protecting the United States are not always able to access the evidence needed to prosecute crime and prevent terrorism. The Government has trusted in Peraton to provide the technical ability, tools, and resources to bring criminals to justice. In response to this challenge, Peraton is seeking a Full Stack Developerwith experience in designing and developing solutions within the cloud.
What you’ll do…
- Be a developer for a new application and work on the front line of the research, development, design, and deployment of a new application.
- Responsible for designing, testing, coding, and developing solutions to meet customer needs; ensuring software continues to function normally through software maintenance, upgrade, and testing; documenting the application, service and environment as a reference for future operations and maintenance, including version and platform upgrades.
- Develop in an AWS cloud environment using cutting edge technology.
- Responsible for the development of an application that is uses Java (JEE Development) Angualr, JavaScript/Application Development, PostgreSQL, Sprintboot and Tomcat.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- BS degree and have 10+ years of relevant experience. However, equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- 10+ years of experience with programming and software development including analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, maintenance, quality assurance, troubleshooting and/or upgrading of software systems.
- Two (2) or more years of experience in the following skillset:
- Java (JEE Development)
- Strong JavaScript/Ajax Application Development
- Angular version 2 or above
- Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA and Spring Security
- Tomcat
- PostgreSQL
- GIT LAB experience
- Experience in Test Driven Development
- JUNIT experience
- A current Top Secret security clearance
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with Atlassian tools.
- Experience with Microservices architecture.
- Experience with building UX-centric web applications that have scaled with increased user-base.
- Experience working in environments that utilize continuous integration methodologies.

Target Salary Range
$146,000 – $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
