T he Senior Director I, Sales Operations will be the single threaded leader responsible for the sales operations for acquisition of large strategic sellers and brands, and thousands of SMB sellers for the Walmart Marketplace. The scope includes leading the sales operations teams in sales pipeline management and rigor, operatio nal exce llence, setti ng, trac king and forecasting business development performance against q uarter and yearly goa ls, identif ying and addressing opportunities across business development operations . Responsible for Sales Force strategy and functionality implementation , Marketplace value proposition and positioning , s ales training, and Wal mart Fulfilment Service new seller adoption program . This role will also be the central intelligence for top lead d efiniti on, identifica tion and enrichment . This leader wil l str ive in c ollabora ting and ensu r ing international bu siness development te ams at tain their goals by implementing sales operational rigor, tracking and accountability with International BD leadership. Influence and collaborate across Marketplace acquisition teams, Business development, sales enablement, digital marketing, channel partnership and SMB acquisition. Leverage industry best practices and standards in business development operations to ensure the assortment and seller acq ui sition numbers and t h e in ye ar GMV goals are atta ined .
Responsibilities
- Sales operational rigor & sales force implementation : Set and track business development acquisition and GMV yearly and quarterly goals across strategic and SMB acquisition channels. Implement sal es teams ‘ operational rigor, pipeline management and tracking, forecasting and highlighting challenges and opportunities on a weekly basis. Craft the Sales Force strategy, usage plan and track usage rigor. Lead Analytics and data teams in developing the right tools for each BD team and channel acquisition performance.
- Team leadership : B uild the team by Identify ing , hir ing and retain ing a highly diverse team. Sales Operations is a relatively new function for Marketplace that requires setting the operational charter, the vision for the sales operations team , the implementation plan and the new leadership team under that will be able to execute and lead End to End.
- Program strategy & execution : Lead the development and adoption plan of the Walmart Fulfilment Services for new sellers and brands. Responsible to attain incremental s ervice adoption share.
- Leads source and enrichment : Establish single source of truth in lead identification, consolidation and enrichment through 3 rd party providers , to provide BD teams with the optimal information and lead prioritization to attain the BD acquisition and assortment goals.
- Sales training and associate tools: Develop the new Walmart Marketplace positioning pitch and develop BD associate tools to drive acquisition performance and program adoption .

The annual salary range for this position is $128,000.00-$250,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.
Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:
