Belcan has an immediate opportunity for a Lead Piping Designer to join a top client in Raleigh, NC. This is a contract to hire opportunity with a top Construction Engineering Company in the area.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the design, fabrication and installation of High Purity and Process Piping Systems for scientific & pharmaceutical customers. Will consider other process chemical industry experience.
Must have experience in Revit and AutoCAD. Ideally Solidworks and Inventor would be helpful. Will consider other CAD tools. They are transitioning from AutoCAD to Revit. Should have experience working in Mechanical Piping Practices.
Would prefer the person to have some lead experience to help run the BIM Department (review drawings, mentor younger designers etc.)
This is a LONG TERM position (contract to hire) with our client averaging around 400 different projects per year.
