The mission of the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless is to work collaboratively toward the prevention of homelessness and the creation of lasting solutions for homeless and at-risk families, children, and individuals throughout Colorado. The Coalition advocates for and provides a continuum of housing and a variety of services to improve the health, well-being, and stability of those it serves.
The Senior Manager, Beacon Place works to identify strengths and needs of the program and to plan, design, and implement improvements over time. This position provides programmatic oversight to a 82 bed, 24/7 facility serving transitional housing residents in a variety of programs. This includes programs for veterans, women, transgender individuals, and respite care clients. The facility also features a commercial kitchen that serves 3 meals a day. Programmatic oversight includes, but is not limited to: supervision of the Operations Manager, case managers, Resident Assistants and Beacon Coordinator, compliance with state and federal grants, managing internal and external stakeholder relationships, writing reports, and crisis intervention. This position includes on-call rotations for a 24-7 facility that require the Senior Manager to be available in the event of an emergency or consultation need via phone and/or in person. This position is located at 3636 W. Colfax Ave., Denver, CO 80204 and reports to the Director of Transitional Housing.

Essential Job Functions
- Provides excellent internal and external customer service, engendering an atmosphere of collaboration and teamwork.
- Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff.
- Works to create a supportive working environment that encourages trauma informed and culturally competent interactions that build collaboration and create a kind and respectful atmosphere.
- Provides, at a minimum, bi-weekly individual and group staff supervision and completes assigned staff performance reviews, maintains supervision records, and provides coaching, support and problem-solving assistance to staff as needed.
- Provides direct supervision to the Operations manager who provides facility oversight and monitoring, including weekend and evening “on-call” coverage during rotating weekends.
- Trains and assists staff as needed regarding job duties, including but not limited to case management activities, EHR data entry, interventions, and documentation.
- Ensures all services are documented by staff in a timely and complete fashion in the EHR.
- Provides appropriate correspondence to clients, case managers, clinical staff, community service providers, and other relevant people involved in program participant care and/or service delivery.
- Assures compliance with funding requirements, including periodic reports to grantors and partners and ensuring all verification paperwork is completed as required by law and/or payor sources.
- Assists to ensure compliance with HUD guidelines, participates in completing reports, and improving inter departmental workflow as assigned. This includes managing the census for programs under the purview of this position and coordinating intakes.
- Utilizes a systems approach to identify strengths and needs of the program and collaborate to create and implement improvements in an on-going manner.
- Appropriately handles crises as they arise and, in a trauma, informed manner.
- Works collaboratively to ensure that the facility operates optimally and client services are not interrupted, including performing basic housekeeping, cooking, new client orientation, and other coverage when required.
- Drives facility van as required.
- Attends required meetings and regular supervision with Director of Residential Services.
- Completes all required forms and reports in a complete and timely manner.
- Understands and follows the related policies and procedures of CCH.
- Assists in the development and oversight of program budgets, grant applications, and completion of all required reports to funders as assigned.
- Works closely with other program leadership to develop an integrated, evidence-based system of care.
- Attends all assigned management and stakeholder meetings as a representative of CCH Residential Services.
- Assists in the implementation of quality improvement activities including providing oversight, implementation, documentation, and follow-up.

Qualifications Summary
- Bachelor’s Degree in human services, social work, or related field with Master’s degree in human services field preferred.
- Previous experience in a similar setting (residential, mental health, transitional housing, etc.) required. Management/supervisory experience preferred.
