Senior Associate, Sales and Communications Support

New York Life’s primary distribution channel is the career Agency sales force of more than 12,000 agents, operating in virtually every major city in the United States. Every agent is affiliated with one of our 117 General Offices. These offices are operated by Agency management teams responsible for agent and management recruiting, development, and sales. Approximately half our agents operate their businesses out of our General Offices, while the other half maintains independent office locations.

Our General Offices are divided up among four Zones. In addition to our Zone offices, an Agency Home Office team responsible for strategy, finance, administration, standards, training, marketing and communications supports our agents and field managers. The Agency operation also comprises teams charged with growing our business in key market segments, including the middle-income market, the advanced (high-net-worth) market, select cultural markets, and the women’s markets. Agents sell individual life insurance, individual annuities, and long-term care insurance products, as well as mutual funds.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for promoting sales strategies and incentives to Agents and Managers leveraging electronic communications systems Exact Target and Access Emailer and assist with managing print/product vendors for any promotional items and incentive fulfillment
  • Handle webinar logistics on multiple events occurring monthly, working with product consultants and agents including scheduling, content gathering and reporting
  • Responsible for content management including keeping digital database organized and up-to-date and maintaining team portal pages
  • Work with compliance partners on submitting and obtaining necessary approvals on new and existing materials
  • Support the team on special projects as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience
  • HTML coding, knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word
  • Sales Force Marketing Cloud and Access Emailer knowledge a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and project follow-through
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Open to learning new skills and willing to take on projects to meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills

Salary range: $72,500-$107,500

Overtime eligible: Exempt

Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes

Sales bonus eligible: No
