Hours: 2-10pm or 10pm-6am. Must be available to work either shift, available on weekends, holidays and for overtime.

Hosting a hiring event on 9/8 in Chandler for Security officers only. Candidates will be notified with time and address of hiring event after a short screen.
You Will:
- Displays excellent customer service skills with all employees, visitors, and guests.
- Through visibility and presence, acts as a crime deterrent while always maintaining a positive and professional demeanor and appearance.
- Responsible for providing a secure and safe environment for all employees and visitors.
- Ability to professionally interact with and de-escalate disorderly or disruptive people.
- Responds to emergency situations as needed.
- Maintains a secure environment by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings and reviewing access points.
- Follows all company policies, procedures and instructions regarding the security and safety of all employees and guests as set forth by the Department Head.
- Utilizes computer software for the guest registry, communication, report writing, building access and video surveillance systems.
- Remains in compliance with all federal, state and local regulations regarding security officer certification and First Aid/CPR/AED requirements.
- Masters the use of emergency equipment, including knowing its location, proper deployment and use.
- Assists in coordinating facility operations response to safety hazard identification and removal.
- Adaptable with a strong attention to detail.
- Displays the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
- Conducts bag and vehicle checks to prevent theft of property and/or the introduction of banned items.
- Provides security and personal protection of employees and visitors as needed during special events.
- Follows procedures for various initiatives including fire prevention, assigned property patrol, traffic control and accident investigations.
- Notifies supervisors and on-site staff of any irregularities, suspicious activities, security breaches and/or safety hazards.
- Reports any and all malfunctioning security equipment.
- Reports any facility issues such as fire hazards, broken windows/doors, leaking pipes, etc. to the respective partner team.
- Summons first responder personnel as appropriate for high-risk and emergency situations.
- Maintains confidentiality of company and employee information.
- Other duties as assigned and deemed necessary.
You Bring:
- 1-3 years of professional security experience, preferably in-house security experience.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- A valid Arizona Unarmed Security Guard license issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety Licensing Unit required.
- Valid Driver’s License and dependable means of transportation.
- Proven safe driving record.
- Working knowledge of basic security techniques.
- Previous corporate or manufacturing security-related work experience preferred.
- First Aid/CPR/AED certification required or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire.
- Display the ability to read, understand and apply both simple and complex standard operating procedures.
- Excellent written, verbal, and customer service skills.
- Efficient, effective and accurate report-writing skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Must be available to work all day/night shifts, weekends, holidays and special events as needed.
- Previous US Military with Honorable Discharge and/or Law Enforcement experience.
- College Degree/college credit toward Criminal Justice or similar program.
- Previous corporate, logistics or manufacturing security-related work experience.
- High degree of care and awareness to prevent physical injuries.
- Emotional control, consistent professionalism, and dependability.
- See differences between colors, shades, and brightness.
- Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs.
- Ability to carry out foot patrols within interior and exterior parameters.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Ability to perform required duties in rough/difficult terrain and during inclement weather.

Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
• AZ- $20 per hour
