Description
These are seasonal positions working only during rink season. Pay is $17.00 per hour with an anticipated 30-40 hour work week and there are no benefits provided. The rink season is typically October-February. The primary responsibility is for ice rink supervision. Work will occur during public skating sessions as well as during the hockey season on evenings and weekends. This also includes our holiday skating sessions in December and January.

Examples of Duties
This position reports to the Recreation Supervisor and is the acting liaison between team organizations, coaches, rink guards, and patrons. Some of the duties include: checking locker rooms for cleanliness as well as damages, overseeing skate lessons, skate sharpening, bank deposits and cash handling, and opening/closing tasks in Civic Rec
Minimum Qualifications
Equivalent to one year of experience with recreational facilities operations. Skating experience is preferred.

Candidates must obtain CPR/First Aid certification. This cost will be covered by St. Louis County.
Seasonal employees are paid only for the hours actually worked. There are no additional benefits.
