SAP FICO Business Analyst

Vita Coco is looking for an SAP FICO Business Analyst to join our team. This role will be responsible for supporting existing FICO application functionality and business processes as well as new application development for strategic business initiatives. This role will provide the cross-functional candidate opportunities to develop technical skills that they are not expected to initially bring.

This position requires a strategic thinker, a problem solver who is a self-starter and self-motivated; well organized; flexible and effective with multiple simultaneous tasks. Strong communication skills are critical, as this position will work closely with end users, team members, technical teams, and management to define and drive business processes and requirements.

The SAP FICO Business Analyst will be the ultimate “Power-User” of the FICO modules. This role will be based out of our HQ-NY Office; we currently have a 3-day-per-week in-office requirement, to work from our Manhattan HQ

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide end-user support and training to the Accounting and Finance teams for the proper use of the FICO module.
  • Work with cross-functional (SD, MM) and technical (development, basis, security) teams to estimate time requirements for efforts greater than standard-support remediations.
  • Collaborate with end users to analyze, define, and document requirements for new and existing business processes.
  • Consult with end users, management, team members, and technical leads to design and implement solutions to support business requirements.
  • Work with the team to develop and test functionality that meets documented design.
  • Work independently to configure and test functionality that meets documented design.
  • Review, learn, and understand assigned areas of functionality necessary to properly test solutions.
  • Create test plans/cases and document testing results clearly and accurately.
  • Review information and documentation pertaining to features or functionality within the solution and work with Vita Coco’s Learning & Development Director to create and update training material.
  • Work with software developers to identify and resolve bugs.
  • Organize tasks and personal time to complete multiple, diverse assignments within the scheduled time frame.
  • Responsibility for owned deliverables, while assisting others as necessary to meet overall project objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance; MIS degree or similar with subsequent professional experience or further education in accounting/finance preferred.
    • SAP FICO certification is a plus.
  • Must have 1 full implementation or major upgrade of SAP as an end-user/power-user.
  • At least 2-4 years of SAP configuration experience is required in SAP’s FICO module in a global, multi-currency environment including:
    • General Ledger (GL), Asset Accounting (AA), Accounts receivable (AR), Accounts payable (AP) Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Cost center Accounting (CCA), Profitability Analysis (COPA)
    • Knowledge of SAP integration with SAP or 3rd party interfaces such as SD and MM modules, EDI integrations, etc.
  • ECC and S/4 experience preferred, upgrade experience to S/4 considered optimal
  • Experience working with and integrating to TM1 or other OLAP FP&A tools
  • Accompanying technical experience that will be considered:
    • Additional SAP module experience – SD, MM
    • AT/Tax configuration or understanding

At The Vita Coco Company, compensation decisions are dependent upon a variety of factors, which may include, but are not limited to: skill set, experience, education, training, licensure and certifications, knowledge and abilities of the applicant, alignment with market data, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current pay range for this position is $75,000-$95,000. Sales roles are also eligible for incentive pay targeted at 10% of base salary. This range may vary for positions that will be performed outside of California, Colorado, Nevada, New York City, Westchester County, NY, Rhode Island, or Washington.
