Role: SAP EAM Functional Lead – Senior Manager
Location: Can be based anywhere in the continental US. REMOTE with Occasional Onsite Travel – Customer is based in Camden, NJ
Duration: Full Time only – Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Job summary:
- 10+ years of experience in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM), Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Customer Service (CS), including integration with other EAM applications required with a demonstrable record of successful SAP ERP/EAM implementations.
- Experience with leading all aspects of and approving the end-to-end process design, configuration, testing, and ultimate conversions of the SAP functions included within EAM and all points of integration across the solution landscape.
- Lead oversight of the coordinated system design enabling EAM processes across an SAP landscape with GIS and work management scheduling solutions; all in support of the utility industry.
- Engages in full life cycle stages of project execution in the EAM area delivering all phases of SAP EAM integration with ISU Device Management, improvements and into support.
- Interacts with business leads daily to capture requirements and develop a full grasp of various business scenarios and map the appropriate SAP EAM Solutions.
- Should have exposure to Agile methodology and solid understanding of JIRA board.
- Identifies and assists in the development of new services and capabilities to address client’s business needs in SAP EAM and ISU segment.
- Experience in Asset Management and extensive knowledge of Preventive Maintenance, Maintenance Plans, Time/Strategy based Maintenance, Breakdowns, and all type of repair process.
- Knowledge of Corrective Maintenance, configuration of Notification types, Order types, PM configuration and design
- Knowledge of Maintenance operations, order processing, tasks, PM refurbishment process and integration with time confirmation
- Resolve business issues by working with various groups within the company.
- Experience in Work Management and work scheduling tools, GIS, Field Work applications
- Should be capable of building functional specification around interfaces using SAP CPI, Kafka, microservices, Dockers and Dev ops tools for integration.
Job responsibilities:
- SAP EAM Functional Lead Consultant and Delivery Manager with experience in Utilities industry, must possess a strong business understanding of the utility industry and business processes, with deep expertise in Enterprise Asset Management and ISU Device Management
- Role requires day to day interaction with business leadership and communicating day to day delivery to IT & Business Program Managers, required superb communication skills
Minimum Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in SAP PM, EAM, CS, including integration with other EAM applications required
- Consistent track record of successful SAP ERP/EAM implementations
Preferred Qualifications:
Should be capable of building functional specification around interfaces using SAP CPI, Kafka, microservices, Dockers and Dev ops tools for integration.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $119,000 and $164,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
