Summary
Milani Cosmetics is looking for an in-house Graphic Designer (Print/Digital) to join its Creative team. You are a highly creative individual with practical skills to execute concepts, design leading graphics and work collaboratively within a small team. You are comfortable working independently and are solution oriented. The goal of this position is to increase brand loyalty and other marketing experiences for the omni ecosystem, which includes print, packaging, campaign graphics, renderings, in-store promotional displays, PR mailers, social and other retail partner assets. Your design vision is elevated, modern and bold and you have an impressive understanding of digital art trends and best brand practices. This role reports into the Global Art Director and supports the overall Creative and Marketing teams.
Responsibilities:
- Design loyalty experience content based on briefs, brand strategy and brand aesthetic
- Work and collaborate closely with Art Director, Creative, Marketing, and Product Development teams to build strategies for print and digital needs that support product initiatives and brand growth
- Play a key role in developing campaign collateral for use across in-store displays.
- Uphold brand identity characteristics, typography, photography, color etc. while sharing in the innovation of the Milani Brand voice and graphic systems.
- Strategize, manage, and evolve our design guidelines and packaging systems.
- Track project timelines and prioritize project workload and projects using platforms such as Monday.com, Dropbox, etc.
- Develop and maintain rapport and excellent communication with production vendors, printers and other external resources ensuring the best services are achieved.
- Concept, create and deliver a strong design solution across various branded materials including but not limited to product renderings, packaging, in-store displays, campaign graphics, PR mailers and digital assets.
- Ensure accountability to timelines, in a fast-paced environment, while always delivering creative that is accurate and consistent.
- Prepare and package files for print, social and web, working closely with external teams and vendors (i.e., proofing, color-matching, approving for print and exporting to different aspect ratios).
- Organize and maintain project archives.
- Ensure that all creative produced meets all brief requirements, this includes but is not limited to correct dimensions, resolution, format, and die-lines.
- Conceptualize and design original concepts and infographics for digital marketing/advertising campaigns, motion interactive and still content for social digital platforms- current and emerging.
- Concept beautiful and highly creative booth renders and event space graphics in 2D and 3D formats.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience of package and print design experience, preferably within beauty
- AA/BFA/BS Graphic Design degree, Multimedia or related field
- Expert working knowledge of die-lines, renderings, mocks, print production, etc.
- Expert in: Adobe CC, Conceptual Design, Experiential, Type Design, Project Management, Presentation Skills
- Keeps up with current and upcoming trends within the industry, pushing out of the box creative thinking
- A proactive leader and someone the team can rely on, and the director can depend on to step in whenever needed
- Extremely organized with an excessive attention to detail, an outstanding communicator, and a solution oriented problem solver by nature
- Naturally inclined towards design optimized for marketing performance. You consistently research, identify, and share current industry design trends as they relate to the brand category
- Comfortable working both autonomously and collaboratively, with multiple rounds of revisions

Compensation:
The base salary range represents the low and high end of Milani’s salary range for this position. Salaries will vary depending on factors including, but not limited to location, education, skills, experience. The base salary range for this role is $65 to $75k.
