What you’ll be doing day to day
Now is an exciting time to join IKEA and be part of its omnichannel growth strategy! As a Retail Design Specialist, designing and presenting product range solutions to engage our customers, you will:
Plan and ensure smooth and effective implementation of product range presentation solutions. Provide coaching and leadership for on-site and from-a-distance Shop design/Visual merchandising implementation.
Design, plan, and document product range presentation solutions that highlight the IKEA brand identity, position the brand and align with sales priorities.
Design customized home furnishing solutions for various channels (stores, .com, social media etc.) in line with the Commerical Calendar or specific requests from departments like Communications, Marketing, Sales, Sustainability, and Customer Experience.
Maximize the economy of scale by using global tools and best practices to create and plan effective, commercial, and inspiring communication solutions efficiently.
Collaborate closely with key stakeholders both within and outside of the commercial, ensuring integration, shared goals, and maximum impact.
Collaborate with the country’s super user of the planning tool and their active contribution to improving the tool in the super-user network.

QUALIFICATIONS
Formal qualifications in Retail Design/Visual Merchandising or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Retail Design/Visual Merchandising or similar.
Revit 3D planning and documentation skills and experience.
Experience in driving output within set scope and following up results.
JOB TYPE – Permanent, Full-time, Remote position that travels 50-75% of the time. Must be within drivable distance to an IKEA unit and report to work three days a week when not traveling.
PAY – The starting rate/salary for this position range from $59,487 to $93,408 and will be based on relevant work experience.
