    **New Restaurant Opening**The Restaurant General Manager has the overall responsibility for directing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring compliance with company standards in all areas of operation, including product preparation and delivery, customer relations, restaurant maintenance and repair, inventory management, team management, recruiting, hiring, termination and retention of team members, financial accountability, and ensuring that the highest quality products and services are delivered to each customer.

Restaurant General Manager Requirements

  • Ability to learn and abide by corporate systems and SOPs
  • 3+ years of experience as Restaurant General Manager in full service with alcohol concept
  • Natural leadership ability
  • Ability and history of developing teams and individuals
  • Passion for people and product.
  • Proficient in scheduling and payroll functions
  • Experience managing labor cost and food cost
  • Experience with scheduling and scheduling software
  • Knowledge of and experience with POS systems
  • A good understanding of modern technology and trends
  • Systems knowledge and experience i.e. ordering, inventory, etc
  • Ability to effectively manage a team and delegate responsibilities
  • Attention to detail and cleanliness within the restaurant
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • Ability to adapt to and abide by culture of company
