Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Server Assistant / Food Runner for the beautiful Interlocken Resort & Spa!

The Server Assistant role is dedicated to providing quality service that exceeds Guest and Member expectations work to create guests for life, by proactively embracing service standards, adhering to safety regulations and gaining the knowledge to assist guests with any and all needs.
Salary range for this position starts at: $16.00/hour. Full Time Associates at Omni Interlocken Resort are entitled to elect the following benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision and other healthcare benefits, Paid Maternity Leave, 401k and Paid Time Off Accrual. Omni Interlocken Resort reserves the right to pay more or less than listed compensation scale based on factors not related to sex or race.
Responsibilities
- Bussing, running food and clearing tables to assist servers and guests.
- Station set-up
- Stock needed supplies in side stands.
- Clean-up of coffee machines and prepared coffee.
- Set-up tea station.
- Get ice supply.
- Dust all tables to include table legs.
- Receive rolls and put in warmers.
- Put milk in refrigerators and set-up creamers.
- Pre-set breadbaskets lined with napkins.
- Pick-up linen.
- Check off and pick-up storeroom supplies.
- Set tables with clean, pressed linen, china, silver and glassware.
- Ensure furniture and floors are clean and arranged according to specifications.
- Assist servers during meal period.
- Remove any extra settings.
- Pour water for guests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in restaurant service preferred.
- Must be able to lift, Carry, and Place up to 50 pounds.
- Must have the ability to stand/walk throughout the duration of the shift for up to 8 hours.
- Excellent communication & guest service skills.
- Must have a strong attention to detail.
- Available to work a flexible shift, including weekends and holidays.
