PAY RANGE: (Min-Mid)

Resource Scheduler I: $49,200 – $61,500

Resource Scheduler II: $60,200 – $75,300

Sr Resource Scheduler: $68,000 – $90,700

Lead Resource Scheduler: $80,300 – $107,100

Scheduled Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 5:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. (Other hours as required)

Summary of Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage regional allocation of resources to ensure all construction and maintenance activities are properly prioritized, scheduled and resourced to ensure work is completed on time and on budget. Coordinate with peers and other stake holders to evaluate resource availability and adjust as needed. Prepare work schedules for Construction to indicate required resource allocation. Monitor completion of work to evaluate schedule adherence and provide feedback on accountability to Construction Management. Administer application of resource planning tools and provide ongoing support and training to ensure benefits of the system are continually maximized. Facilitate implementation of the crew scheduling software and assume ongoing support responsibility for users. Source and schedule resources for Field Operations to ensure customer in-service dates are met. Monitor manpower plans for Field Operations, identify resource needs and provide assignment of jobs to satisfy schedules. Apply state of the art analytical and business knowledge, techniques and procedures to identify opportunities for improved efficiencies, and assist in implementation of process improvements. Facilitate sourcing of contract resources to provide services for Construction Management.

Education and Experience Requirements:

The preferred candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or related field or five years of related experience. Related experience includes background in construction and/or maintenance of electric utility assets and facilities. Experience in scheduling work is preferred.

The successful candidate must be flexible, a strong leader, credible with all stakeholders, as well as an effective communicator and decision maker, support the Strategic Intent and promote a world-class safety culture. Excellent human relations, team building and leadership skills are essential. Familiarity with the company’s computer systems, design environment system is a plus.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Required:

The preferred candidate will have a minimum of four years of distribution division experience, demonstrated knowledge of divisional processes, supervisory, system design and/or field. The successful candidate must be flexible, a strong leader, credible with all stakeholders, as well as an effective communicator and decision maker. Excellent human relations, team building and leadership skills are essential. The major challenges of this position are to make good decisions in deployment of internal and external resources to meet project in-service dates, and apply business and analytical skills to identify opportunities for improved efficiency and productivity. The position requires high-stress tolerance, excellent customer service skills, quick decision making capability, strong analytical skills, strong planning skills, and the ability to hold each work group accountable to satisfy schedules. The incumbent works within the policies and procedures set forth by the Company and adheres to the bargaining unit agreement, regulations of the two state commissions, and applicable state and local laws. The effectiveness of the incumbent is measured by the level of distribution system reliability achieved, percentage of in-service dates met, extent of contractor utilization, overtime utilization levels, customer satisfaction levels, budgetary performance, employee productivity, and efficient resource deployment and utilization as measured by budget performance and proper prioritization of work.Licenses, Certifications, Bonding, and/or Testing Required: None

Working Conditions: Office work with travel required between offices as necessary to complete work.
