The salary for this position is $87,670 – $128,590 dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. This range is based on a full-time schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
Manages the Line Maintenance Sales, Global Emergency Maintenance, and Technical Handling. Contracts with customer airlines. Sets strategic direction with the Senior Manager – Line Maintenance MRO Sales and Customer Technical Support. Responsible for retention and growth of commercial Line Maintenance sales across the system. Develops commercial strategic partnerships with both Star Alliance and Non-Star Alliance Operators and customers globally. Frequently interfaces with all United service providers covering multiple contracts spanning the line maintenance network enabling strategic partnerships and reciprocity for future Global Emergency Maintenance (GEM) and routine technical handling revenue opportunities for the Tech Ops Division.
Travel 20% (Domestic and International)
- Ultimately responsible for retention and growth of United Technical Operations Line Maintenance Customer Programs
- Acts as the main conduit for all global Line Maintenance MRO Customer activity promoting safety, reliability, reciprocity, revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction
- Develops and follows up on sales leads and formal RFPs & RFQs
- Responsible for maintaining current customer relationships
- Forges internal relationships with production groups, engineering, regulatory and other United support groups where necessary to improve United Tech Ops ability to sell its product in the marketplace
- Manages lifecycle of Global Emergency Maintenance (GEM / AOG) events
- Develops financials, proformas and all commercial contracts related to the product offerings
- Responsible for maintaining quarterly sales plans
- Attends IATP, MRO Americas, and other critical industry events to promote United Tech Ops products
- Monitors monthly financial performance
- Handles changes to customer work scope, updates contracts and disseminates information accordingly
- Monitors delivery of line maintenance work with stations to ensure compliance as stated in contracts
- Resolves customer issues in coordination with UA service providers
- Develops strategies to grow product lines and optimize synergies to include: development of new business unit activities, input on presentations for senior management, recognition events, research on costing methods and research of market trends regarding customers, competition, pricing and the MRO strategies of competition

Qualifications
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of relevant work experience (Business Administration or Aviation Maintenance Management)
- 3-5+ years of customer service management experience for technical sales and contract management in the aviation industry
- Technical knowledge of Airbus and Boeing commercial product lines
- Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally and to collaborate with multiple internal and external customers
- Advanced MS Office skills
- Knowledge of Airline Maintenance Repair and Overhaul
- Strong communication, writing, negotiating skills
- Detail oriented
- Must possess current passport or have the ability to obtain a passport
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
