THE ROLE: The Regional Project Manager will be responsible for assuming the entire accountability for delivering both standard and nonstandard, complex, and high-risk projects from conception to completion. In this role, the incumbent will also maintain and foster long-term relationships by clearly setting and communicating achievable expectations with external and internal stakeholders. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Develops project execution plan that reflects/encompasses a full project schedule, budget, and risks.
  • Provide technical review of potential complex projects and proposals providing a recommendation on the feasibility of the project.
  • Works with internal and external stakeholders to ensure client deliverables are meeting scope.
  • Works closely with regional teams to understand future delivery needs; coordinate training and development plans to support upcoming work.

  • Additional duties and responsibilities may be required based on organizational needs.
  • Participation in Xylem Watermark volunteer activities

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree(preferably engineering related) or equivalent work-related experience.
  • 10+ years’ experience in a field-based setting; water industry preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years leadership or mentorship experience
  • Demonstrated experience creating and managing budgets.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage projects involving field technicians or engineers and lead diverse and dispersed teams.

DAY IN THE LIFE:

In this role, the working environment is office based and the physical demands may include but not limited to sitting, standing, reaching, bending, and moving about the facility.

SALARY:

The estimated salary range for this position is $85,000 to $110,000 plus bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
