Job Description
: The Regional People Insights Manager plays a critical role in influencing and evolving H&M’s people strategy through data and storytelling. This role will help drive an insights-led, data-informed culture within the HR Function for the Region. They will act as a trusted advisor and an expert in people analytics and strategic insights, working both with the HR department and cross-functionally. They will enhance the storytelling capability of the HR function by identifying insights that support in finding solutions and making business minded decisions.
This hybrid position is based in New York, NY within our Human Resources Function and reports to our Regional Total Rewards Manager, Americas.
Core Responsibilities includes but is not limited to:
- Act as a strategic partner to the Region’s HR Function in relation to both short and long-term functional and financial planning for the function
- Advance the HR function’s data-driven competency through coaching and mentoring of leaders and colleagues across Region Americas
- Work with HR partners to identify opportunities, solve problems, find efficiencies, and implement solutions for issues that are critical to the function
- Build and foster strong cross-functional partnerships with key departments across the Americas Sales Markets, including Controlling, Finance Operations, Sales and more
- Support the Region’s HR Function with defining, organizing, and showcasing the people strategy
- Translate & manage information from numerous sources (HRIS, WFMS, surveys, etc.) into manageable data used for dashboards, reporting, and analytics
- Provide weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc reporting to the Americas organization
- Make continual assessments as to what are the right metrics to collect to gain the best insights about the workforce
- Utilize visuals, narratives, and storytelling to provide insights on the impact of HR initiatives to the US organization
- Present strategic people insights in a clear, inspiring way that the business can action
- Develop and drive predictive analytics to help drive business growth and reduce risks
- Design and conduct research projects aimed at identifying business opportunities, testing hypothesis, interpreting results, and providing suggested courses of action
- Develop business partnerships, enable access to their data, help educate, and turn insights into action
- Advocate for data-forward thinking within the Region’s HR organization and support in ensuring there is a clear business case for all projects/initiatives
- Understand people processes and data privacy policies, demonstrate judgement and discretion when working with sensitive people data and business issues
Additional Accountability:
- Oversee the budget and forecast processes and provides support with budget follow up to all HR functions
- Responsible for implementing and following up on best practice routines for invoice handling within the HR function
Qualifications
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Academic Degree in Human Resources, Finance or Business is preferred
- 5+ years of relevant experience working with people data, analytics and insights
- A proven track record of utilizing data insights to advance business goals
- Experience in statistics, mathematics or workforce metrics and analytics a plus
- Experience working with HR systems and HR tech
- Expert proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to prepare high level presentations with detailed analytics and present to senior management team
- Strong communication skills, both interpersonal and written
- Detailed knowledge of legal requirements including Title VII, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, FCRA, etc.
- Very strong organizational and time management skills
- Able to work independently and be self-motivated while still working within a team environment and fostering a strong team collaboration
- Ability to multitask and determine key priorities
- Ability to communicate and work with all levels of employees.
- Ability to initiate new ideas or routines for improving HR practices.
- Ability to be neutral and confidential and deal with highly sensitive information.

Additional Information
Compensation:
Hiring Range is $125,822 – $144,699 annually**
This role is eligible for an annual company performance-based bonus
