Aerospace Engineering Co-Op Job Duties may include:
* Perform structural analysis engineering work for larger commercial aircraft primary wing/fuselage structure
* Perform detailed sizing and static stress, fatigue and damage tolerance analysis of engineering detailed parts and assemblies
* Develops solutions to a wide range of technical problems which require ingenuity and innovation
* Works according to established guidelines and schedules
* Collaboration with client-integrated product teams
* Engineering support for various functional areas (manufacturing, materials, structures, electrical, etc.)
Qualifications:
* Must be enrolled in an accredited university or college; working toward an Aeronautical/Astronautical/Aerospace/Mechanical/Civil degree
* Two years of college coursework should already be completed and includes Statics and Strength (Mechanics) of Materials
* Must be available for full-time Co-Op January through August 2023
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
* Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required
Desired experiences and skills include:
* Experience with FEM, FEA, Software (ABAQUS, ANSYS, FEMAP, HYPERMESH, NASTRAN, PATRAN) and with Structural Analysis
* Proficiency with Microsoft office tools
* Experience with CATIA V5 is preferred though other 3D CAD Packages can be considered
* Effective oral and written collaborative engineering environment communication skills
Pay Rate: $26.50/hour
