Overview
Enterprise Holdings, operating the Alamo Rent A Car, Enterprise Rent-A-Car and National Car Rental brands, has an opening for Quality Control Lot Attendant at our New Orleans Airport location in Kenner, LA.
Quality Control is responsible for ensuring the overall safety and security of vehicles. This individual checks all vehicles prior to being rented by our customers to ensure that the cars are clean and safe, and ready to be rented by our customers.
This is a full time position is located at 400 Rental Blvd. in Kenner, LA.
The schedule is 4:00pm-12:00am Thursday-Monday (OFF Friday, Saturday). The rate of pay is $16.00 per hour plus additional differential pay of $0.75-$2.00.
Responsibilities
- Inspect vehicles prior to rental to ensure the overall safety and security of the vehicles.
- Check cars that are being moved into the ready garages for the following:
- Tire tread depth
- Insurance card in glove box
- License plates
- Cleanliness of vehicle inside, out, trunk, compartments
- Fuel level
- Dash lights
- Note body damage
- Perform all other related work as required by management.

Rental Ready Line Organization
- Monitor all aspects of vehicle movement within the rental garage and to the rental ready lines
- Manage driver activity to rental ready lines and ensure vehicles are moved to the best location to maximize customer experience, space and traffic flow
Inspections
- Inspect vehicles for damage prior rental and ensure that proper check in process is followed
- Facilitate lost and found items with 3rd party or service agent team
- Maintain current registration and ensure all expired license plates are grounded by working closely with staff to provide support on title registration, fleet maintenance, maintenance tracking on vehicles, turnback recording, duplicate key procedures, and other special projects
Communication and Point of Contact
- Act as the go-between in communicating with the rental team as well as the production facility
- Act as the point of contact for the driver team on a daily basis
- Provide administrative support for the Fleet Supervisor and assistance to Branch Managers, Assistant Managers, and Vehicle Repair where needed
- Act as a point of contact for Managers to get specific upgrade vehicles for customers

Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Must have a valid drivers license in with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years.
- No drug or alcohol-related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
