Quality Assurance Auditor

Gannett Fleming is seeking a Results-Driven part-time Quality Assurance Auditor to join our Boston, MA office. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive audits and surveillance activities, meticulously documenting findings and escalating any unresolved issues to the Quality Manager for swift resolution. Your expertise will be crucial in verifying and documenting corrective actions, guaranteeing the closure of audit findings. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating effective communication through the preparation and distribution of audit checklists, notifications, and detailed audit finding reports. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and document audit and surveillance activities on the audit report log and schedule
  • Conduct audits of all project plans, processes and subcontractors
  • Escalate unresolved nonconforming work to the Quality Manager (QM) for higher-level resolution
  • Verify and document that the corrective actions to close audit findings have been performed
  • Prepare and send audit checklist and notification
  • Prepare and send audit finding reports

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Certified in ASQ preferred
  • Minimum of 5-10 years’ experience in a QA Auditor role
  • Experience on large transportation projects a big+
  • Excellent communication skills
