Volt is immediately hiring for a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer
As a QA Automation Engineer you will:
- Develop, Design, and generate test plan, high quality test cases manual and automated scripts using automated tools to test the applications for all types of testing including functionality, usability, regression, system integration and end-to-end that align to business requirements functional specifications, use cases and/or user stories
- Develop high-quality, secure solutions for new features as well as modifications of existing features in existing custom applications.
- Software defects through manual and/or automated tests
- Analyze existing issues and provide solutions to remediate; use issue resolution as an opportunity to improve supportability of the custom software.
- Responsible for updating and maintaining current test framework and create new feature tests. Integrate automation suite to be part of a seamless deploy process.
This is a fulltime opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 3-5 years of software industry experience.
- Experience with QA automation; Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server (TFS) (or other source control), Selenium, C# or any programming language, API/Web Services, Mobile testing
- Experience with SQL server or any other relational database management system (RDBMS), Data Warehouse and ETL, SSIS, writing complex SQL Queries
- Ability to write, debug and troubleshoot code in at least one programming language such as C#, Java or Python
- Knowledge of Microsoft technology stack, including Visual Studio, .NET, ASP.NET, and Team Foundation Server (TFS) (or other source control); extensive knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JQuery and JavaScript.
Pay Rate: $47.00 – $52.00 per hour.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate’s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
