Job Summary
Provide support to engineers and PMO to ensure completion of milestones on time and within budget.
The successful candidate will be involved in engineering and administration of projects and will assist in obtaining and reviewing information and approvals for project deliverables and reporting. Assist in communicating this information across all levels of the project team.
It is also responsible for routine project documentation, requisitions and orders for materials and parts, status monitoring, invoicing, and administrative closeout of projects.
Responsibilities:
- Order, receive, and track parts for projects and lab support using Coupa, PCard and / or Oracle purchasing system.
- Setup new suppliers and vendors within Coupa and Oracle
- Prepare purchase orders, solicit bid proposals, and review requisitions for goods and services
- Monitor shipments, including international shipments, to ensure that goods come in on time, are received appropriately, and resolve problems related to undelivered goods
- Coordinate delivery of project documentation to the labs which includes (drawings, specifications, instrumentation lists and test plans)
- Work with engineers, draftsmen, suppliers, machinists, and lab technicians to deliver parts and assemblies that meet specifications on time and within budget.
- Prepare packages for shipping along with ordering shipping crates for both domestic and international shipping.
- Assists in the preparation and maintenance of project plans, budgets and staffing requirements for common projects.
- Assists in the development of meeting agendas and progress reports.
- Tracks progress of project objectives.
- Identifies routine problems during projects.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in a business management or technical field or 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Project management experience is desired.
Key Competencies:
- Must be an effective team player with the ability to work with cross-functional or global groups, comfortable with and satisfied by group accomplishments.
- Work independently and take ownership of tasks until completion
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
- Computer skills in Microsoft Excel required; experience using project management software such as Microsoft Project is desired.
- Knowledge of engineering documentation, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), is a plus

Base Compensation Range: is $50,000 to $65,000
