WFS’ Transformation Office (TO) is a team that is responsible for leading and overseeing organizational change initiatives. Its focus is to drive strategic initiatives and support the achievement of transformational operating priorities across the company. Over time, the Transformation Office may evolve and mature into an internal Project Management Office (PMO) as the organization continues to grow.

As a first step in this evolution, the TO will develop internal project management, communication, and reporting processes to facilitate WorkForce Software’s company priorities so that the company can achieve its business goals and operating transformation priorities. This will involve the adoption of project management methodologies and tools to help manage projects more effectively including: tracking project progress, identifying risks and issues, and reporting on project status and goal attainment to senior management.

As the Transformation Office matures, it will begin to take on a broader portfolio management role, directly leading multiple projects and programs across the organization. This will involve the establishment of a governance structure to prioritize projects based on their strategic value and resource requirements. The Transformation Office may also begin to provide project management training and support to other departments within the organization, to help them manage their own projects more effectively.

Over time, the Transformation Office may eventually be rebranded as an internal PMO. This reflects its increasing role in managing projects and programs across the organization, and its focus on establishing best practices and standards for project management.
