Job Description
The Project Manager will act as the Owner’s Representative for Omni Hotels and Resorts’ Development team, and be responsible for the overall construction/development of its projects, including management of design, construction, RFP’s, RFQ’s, contracts, the project life cycle, and warranty management. The project manager will provide technical direction and ensure compliance with quality standards. The Project Manager’s responsibilities span a broad spectrum, covering all areas of project management such as Project Planning, Cost Management, Time Management, Design Management, Quality Management and Safety Management.
The immediate role will manage the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa Interior Renovation in Carlsbad, CA from September 2023 through May 2024, but the Project Manager will have exposure to other projects and properties as well.

Responsibilities
- Successfully oversee multiple construction projects from start to finish
- Manage scope, schedule and budget for assigned projects
- Contract and manage the design and construction for assigned projects
- Be responsible for all communication and coordination with design team, contractors, in-house IT, procurement, engineers, interior designers and hotel operators
- Oversee Project Accounting functions, including managing the budget, tracking expenses and minimizing exposure and risk
- Ensure project documents are accurate and completed on a timely basis
- Communicate and report status of all projects to upper management
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in construction management
- College Degree required; Degree in a construction related discipline preferred
- Willing to travel extensively during the week
- Experience leading project teams
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite products
- Excellent communication, organizational, presentation and problem-solving skills
- Ability to use Microsoft Project scheduling software or software of industry equivalence preferred
- Pay: $95,000- 150,000/annually. The pay scale provided is a range that Omni Hotels & Resorts reasonably expects to pay. Actual compensation offered may fluctuate based on a candidate’s qualifications and/or experience
