Project Manager (PM) executes complete project/program plan on product, complex product or project/program orders. PM is responsible for delivery of product/project/program on time, high quality, and at or under budget. PM executes projects from order handover (could include Bid Phase for Larger projects) to transition to Field Service/Warranty as single point of contact for customer, building and maintaining customer relationship as well as ensuring Best-in Class customer satisfaction. PM ensures proactive, prompt and clear communication throughout project lifecycle both internal and external customer focused (utilization of communication plan). PM is responsible for all Project Management activities including development of overall project schedule, project plan, communication plan, contract management, project financial performance/budget, identification/management of risk and maintaining project risk register, if required as well as identifying and implementation of lessons learned. PM shall also manage the project scope and utilize the project change management process to evaluate and proactively pursue all project opportunities, maintain/increase project margins and control scope creep. PM is responsible to continuously evaluate project resource needs, project risks in support of the development and maintenance of Project plans and maintain the List of Open Points (LOP) or action lists. PM participates in cross-project, cross functional planning to resolve conflict related to project priorities, resources, quality, schedule and scope. Overall responsibility for project performance related to Project deliverables (scope), schedule, quality, risk, safety and financial performance. PM also leads project team in bi-weekly or monthly team status meetings, monitor and control of schedule, financials (incl. NCC’s), risk, performance, lessons learned etc.

As the Project Manager, you will make an impact:

  • Demonstrated expertise in defining and tracking project scope, goals, schedule, budgets, and execution strategies in collaboration with project stakeholders (incl. Factory cross-functional teams).
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and business process mapping skill and a history of identifying and implementing process (business and/or manufacturing) improvements.
  • Experience developing and executing risk management and project communication strategies.
  • Demonstrated expertise in defining and tracking project scope, goals, schedule, budgets, and execution strategies in collaboration with project stakeholders.
  • Manage Domestic and International projects within understanding of Logistics and INCO terms.
  • Demonstrated proactive change management approach to projects.
  • Accountable for project financial performance, identification and mitigation of project risk
  • Adherence to PMI, PM@Siemens and General PM process (Q-Gates)
  • Provide support for material and documentation tracking and expediting activities.
  • Strategic focus on vendor management witness test /Customer support.
  • All other assigned duties.

You will excel if you have the following qualifications:

  • 5+ years of successful experience in related field & successful demonstration of key responsibilities and knowledge as presented above.
  • Preferred experience in manufacturing environment.
  • Preferred experience in Oil & Gas, Power Gen, Municipal, Cement & Mining industries etc.
  • Expected travel – 25%
  • Frequent inter-organizational and external contacts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage complex orders and/or multiple smaller orders (20+ orders).

The pay range for this position is $86,700 – $117,300. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS/BA in related discipline required, technical preferred.
  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • PMI (PMP) Certification preferred (should be obtained within 1-2 yrs of hire date).
