Project Manager – ARB Industrial

DESCRIPTION

ARB Industrial is seeking a Project Manager for ongoing and new EPC industrial construction projects in the Greater Los Angeles Basin.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the successful construction, execution, and completion of energy infrastructure projects. The Project Manager will ensure the project is managed and completed in a safe, reliable, quality, timely, and cost-effective manner. The Project Manager is the primary responsible individual for managing the project from pre-construction through final completion.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Will ensure that safety is a number one priority.
  • Will develop and manage the customer relationship during the project lifecycle with the goal of collaborating, serving, and building a mutual and trusting relationship.
  • Will lead and ensure the upfront planning of the project. Will manage and ensure the development of and the adherence to the design and construction schedule with the project team.
  • Will manage and own all financial aspects of the project while coordinating financial reporting with Project Controls.
  • Will manage, own, and control the administration of the contract between the customer and the company.
  • Will work with stakeholders to ensure proper procurement of equipment and materials.
  • Will review all engineering adjustments and design changes for commercial impacts.
  • Will ensure the growth and skill development is occurring for all project team members and their respective engineering and construction disciplines on and off the project.
  • Will communicate, collaborate, and update the leadership on safety, quality, schedule, budget, risks & opportunities.
  • Troubleshoots issues as they arise; evaluates alternatives, proposes solutions and gain team buy-in from engineering, customer, and other stakeholders.
  • Responsible for compliance with corporate policies.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management program, or similardiscipline from a four-year college or university.
  • Commensurate GC/EPC experience spanning years of engineering, estimating, management and construction work proving technical and leadership competencies.
  • Superior command of both oral and written English.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office and understanding of P6 & Microsoft Project scheduling platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience in coaching and mentoring of future leaders.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills (tact, diplomacy, and influence).
  • Must be able to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee performance.
  • Thorough understanding of applicable codes and specifications in heavy industrial construction
  • Ability to navigate through corporate and industry practices and standards.
  • Profound business management skills, ability to run the project as an enterprise.
  • Travel flexibility is required.

Salary Range: $140k-$185k commensurate with experience plus discretionary bonus based on performance.

Job Location: Various job site locations in Greater Los Angeles Basin.
