The salary for this position is $81,000-$95,000dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. This range is based on a full-time schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Operations supply chain deliveries career opportunities where planning, operations and finance intersect. Working together, our group strives to operate a fully integrated supply chain that is dependable, efficient, and resourceful in support of the Company’s aircraft maintenance goals. The purpose of this position is to lead and coordinate the Warehouse Safety & Compliance efforts systemwide. The sheer size of Stores operations demands a point person to focus and improve on our #1 core 4 principle which is Safety.

Safety Program Management

  • Develops, maintains, and communicates Safety Program policies and requirements.
  • Maintains data and identifies safety performance trends.
  • Coordinates with stores management to ensure highest levels of safety are achieved and maintained.
  • Collaborates with safety representatives to identify improvement opportunities and drives required changes.
  • Coordinates with Management to ensure all required safety training is conducted.

Compliance

  • Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements for Warehouse & Distribution system.
  • Reports non-compliance issues and works with Quality Assurance and Corporate Safety as needed to communicate and remediate any findings.

Audit

  • Assists in the development of the annual audit schedule/plan.
  • Conducts routine audits for the Warehouse & Distribution System and works with Manager of Warehouse Safety and Compliance to develop and publish audit reports.
  • Tracks / monitors issues in EtQ and partners with operations to develop and implement sustainable and effective action plans

Communication

  • Partners across the Supply Chain and all of Tech Ops to effectively communicate Safety / Compliance issues and promote awareness.
  • Assists in the publishing of bulletins, newsletters and preparation of material for Safety/ Compliance related meetings

What’s needed to succeed:

  • BS/BA degree in business management, supply chain, Safety, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • +5 years experience in the following: Supply Chain, Engineering, Warehousing & Distribution, Hazardous Materials, and Safety Regulations (OSHA/CAL OSHA)
  • Environmental compliance Strong business acumen and the ability to partner effectively across various disciplines
  • Strong technical communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and presentation skills
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Vision proficient
  • Able to travel 70 to 80% of the time
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
  • OSHA 30 hour
  • IATA & 49 CFR
