ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Program Manager for the CMT practice, you are a ground-breaking leader with a track record of building high-quality CMT solutions. In addition, you are a person of high integrity who believes in challenging the status quo when needed while always first seeking to understand. You will work within a community of Technology and Functional leaders charged with establishing and evolving a unified core solution. Additionally, you will work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve sophisticated business issues from strategy to execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide processes for monitoring performance and collaborating with program teams to determine ways to improve.
  • Strong telco background with a proven record of having worked in the Consumer space.
  • Experience in working with media & telco companies.
  • Experience in taking over a large portfolio, rive transition, stabilize delivery is required.
  • Proven track record as a successful program director, program manager, or project manager.
  • Excellent client communications and stakeholder management in managing large portfolios.
  • Experience working on a global delivery model.
  • Must possess strong experience and exposure to all latest digital, and cloud technologies.
  • Experience managing teams through long, complex program implementations.
  • Knowledge of current program management methods and best practices.
  • Experience managing staff and budgets.
  • Excellent data analysis and reporting skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Experience with industry-standard project management software and tools.
  • Hire and supervise new program managers for projects.
  • Report detailed status updates to leadership and executive team.
  • Apply change, risk, and resource management principles when needed.
  • Work with leadership to set strategic goals and objectives for programs.
  • Resolve problems between program teams and other internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with program managers and other stakeholders to create detailed implementation plans. This includes deadlines, milestones, processes, and risk mitigation protocols.

Required Qualifications

  • 15+ years of CMT and business transformation services experience in the Media & Telco industry.
  • Excellent presentation and written communications skills.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Extensive experience with a global delivery model.
  • Excellent client management, relationship building, and escalation management skills.
  • Empowering engagement leads / project managers.
  • Intermediate to Advanced “hands on” experience with creating and editing using. Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

LOCATION

Remote – Anywhere in the US, (El Segundo, CA area would be ideal). *Some travel required.

Salary and Other Compensation :

The annual salary for this position is between $140,000 – $178,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
