General Summary:
AISW PMO team has an immediate opening for a Staff Program Analyst to support Qualcomm’s AI Software engineering team by managing processes, procedures and tools designed to support the team’s productivity.
Under the guidance of Program Management leadership this position will help drive the scoping and formal processing of new technology feature requirements to address a rapidly growing area of applications in Mobile, Automotive, Internet of Things, Wearables, Computing and XR. Additionally, the role requires coordination across teams to monitor timelines, budgets, risks, and priorities.
Duties include the following:
- Contributes to and updates project planning systems (e.g., plans, schedules, and work breakdown structure) to support Program Managers and Engineering Leads
- With support and guidance from managers, develops methods for tracking the progress and execution of software projects to monitor and report on milestones.
- Coordinates with a cross-functional team to identify and meet needs, communicate progress, to stakeholders, ensure compliance with processes and guidelines, and make recommendations.
- Generation of reports to show FR trends, execution progress tracking.
- Coordinates schedules and task assignments by following proper project management practices with guidance from the Program Manager. The projects include Post-Silicon activities from Bringup to Commercial Sampling, including the analysis of RMA and product test metrics.
- Co-ordinate and track parts shipment to various Qualcomm sites.
- Analyzes data and program metrics using appropriate tools (e.g., macros, pivot tables, charts, graphs, JIRA, PowerBI) and reports inconsistencies.
- Maintains and updates Sharepoint sites, JIRA projects for issue tracking and databases using data management tools (e.g., Excel).
Successful candidate will have the following skills:
- Enjoys working as part of a high energy team as this role will require close coordination with all AISW PgMs other FRB coordinators across multiple global locations.
- Proactive and strong coordination skills to drive scoping of new requirements end to end (including dependencies) to closure.
- Ability to synthesize data and metrics into a summary of key trends and presentation of results in an organized report.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey basic, routine information about day-to-day activities to others who are fully knowledgeable in the subject area.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelors – Business Administration, Bachelors – Computer Science, Bachelors – Engineering, Bachelors – Management
Work Experiences:
- 6+ years of relevant work experience supporting project management and execution and/or contributing to the creation of program plans or related experience.
- 2+ years exposure to program management tools.
- 2+ years working with project dashboards and Gannt charts etc.
- Quick learner: ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.
- Skills: Jira, PowerBI, Tableau, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office (excel, power point, word, Project), SharePoint, Confluence & Jira
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
OR
Associate’s degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of relevant work experience.
OR
High School Diploma or equivalent and 4+ years of relevant work experience.

Pay range:
$95,000.00 – $143,000.00
The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
