What you’ll do
As the Product Manager, you will develop the vision, roadmap, and deliver the underlying Commerce features necessary to enhance the customer experience, drive business growth and and maximize revenue generation opportunities. This role must be able to manage consistencies across a growing team and build product experiences that enable and empower our Customer Success, Digital Business, Sales, and Finance teams with the right tools and capabilities to efficiently meet DocuSign’s strategic goals.
You will be responsible for developing the product strategy and roadmap that expands across multiple surfaces in the Commerce area. You’ll shape the roadmap and craft experiences that transform our self-serve capabilities related to billing, user management and retention. Your work will enhance the end-to-end journey for how customers manage their relationship with DocuSign.Your objectives are directly linked to business metrics such as revenue, customer expansion, retention rate and operational efficiency.
This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director, Product Management – Commerce Experiences.
Responsibility
- Define commerce experiences that enable customers to self-serve manage their account driving churn reduction and retention across desktop and mobile
- Develop and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with the company’s strategic goals and OKRs
- Prioritize features and initiatives based on business impact and available resources
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, customer success, engineering, design, and sales, to define product requirements and prioritize features
- Document crystal clear requirements and use cases to be passed on to Engineering and UX and drive product initiatives from concept to launch, ensuring timely and successful delivery of new features and enhancements
- Use a combination of qualitative and quantitative data insights, as well as industry best practices to prioritize opportunities across DocuSign’s authenticated experiences including account management and in-product commerce experiences
- Utilize data analytics and metrics to assess product performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
- Monitor KPIs related to revenue, conversion, and other relevant metrics
- Partner with Data and Experimentation teams to drive a continuous stream of A/B tests worldwide to optimize current commerce flows
Job Designation
Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring
Basic
- BA/BS in Marketing, Business, Design or Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in digital product management
- 3+ years of experience having worked directly with UX, Engineering, and Testing teams
- Experience driving complex projects across a large, cross functional organization
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data from a variety of sources, identify key insights, spot optimization opportunities, and inform product decisions, with a bias to action and experimentation
Preferred
- MBA / MA
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to communicate with a wide range of team members and job functions, including executives, and to lead through influence across teams
- Track record of building experiences that effectively solve a customer pain point and yield significant business impact
- Demonstrated knowledge of marketing best practices and industry insights to achieve world-class acquisition and retention rates
Wage Transparency
Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:
California: $118,300 – $182,775 base salary
Washington and New York (including NYC metro area): $111,600 – $162,625 base salary
This role is also eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.
